Official launch of China Innovation Tour for CEECs

On December 2, the 2024 China-CEEC Think-Tank Roundtable Conference and the launch of the China Innovation Trip for Central and Eastern European Countries took place in Ningbo, gathering over 300 representatives, scholars, and experts from China and CEECs. The event emphasized the importance of building open innovation ecosystems, fostering cooperation across industries, and enhancing the survival and development capacities of entities through collaboration and competition. SADATEC proudly joined this significant launch, showcasing its commitment to international innovation partnerships.

Ningbo, a central hub in the Yangtze River Delta and a key city in China’s Belt and Road Initiative, has played a vital role in fostering innovation collaborations between China and CEECs. Initiatives such as the Central and Eastern European Countries Intelligence Introduction Workstation and the China-CEEC Young Scientific and Technological Talents Forum have strengthened ties over the years. The forum highlighted Ningbo’s leadership in driving forward scientific exchanges, research collaborations, and cultural interactions with CEEC nations.

The event also saw the establishment of the Innovation Cooperation Think Tank Alliance, comprising 55 co-sponsors dedicated to fostering innovative growth and policy dialogue. The Innovation China Trip will feature project roadshows, field visits, and networking opportunities, enabling CEEC enterprises and institutions to explore cooperation in China. The alliance aims to promote mutual technological learning, personnel exchanges, and joint research to create an open and shared innovation ecosystem.

Notable speeches addressed emerging industries, SME support policies, and international innovation strategies. Experts from Serbia, Greece, and China emphasized the importance of people-to-people exchanges and complementary strengths, such as Serbia’s robust software development sector. SADATEC’s participation further reinforced its mission to bridge global businesses through technology-driven partnerships, contributing to the ongoing dialogue on innovation and collaboration.
