SADATEC at CIIE. Invited by Spirit Slovenia

In an exciting step towards fostering international business connections, our team joined the Slovenian business delegation on a visit to Shanghai, China. This high-profile delegation included the Minister of Economy of Slovenia and the Minister of Agriculture of Slovenia, as well as prominent representatives from Slovenia’s automotive, agricultural, and food supplement sectors. Together, we participated in a series of impactful events aimed at strengthening ties and exploring opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.

Our journey began at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, where we proudly contributed to the grand opening of the Slovenian pavilion. The pavilion showcased Slovenia's diverse industries and innovations, providing a vibrant platform to engage with Chinese businesses and highlight Slovenia’s global potential. CIIE served as an invaluable hub for networking and collaboration, further enhanced by our participation in an organized forum facilitating B2B meetings.

In addition to the expo, we visited leading Chinese companies, gaining insights into cutting-edge advancements and innovative practices, fostering a deeper understanding of potential collaboration avenues between Slovenian and Chinese enterprises.

One of the highlights of our visit was the trip to NICE Shanghai (National Innovation Center), where we learned about China’s robust support system for tech startups. The center's presentation on nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship provided insightful takeaways, particularly relevant for Slovenia's burgeoning tech ecosystem.

This mission to Shanghai underscored the importance of global cooperation and knowledge exchange. It paved the way for potential partnerships and highlighted Slovenia’s commitment to fostering innovation, trade, and sustainable development on the international stage.
